I met this POWER COUPLE at my cousin’s wedding in Spain, and they hired me to come to France to photograph their amazing 3-day wedding!

Their first day of festivities started off with a legal ceremony by the mayor of this adorable little town in the region of Bretagne, France.

After the ceremony, we headed to this adorable little restaurant in the French countryside for an incredible meal of crepes. Best crepes EVER!

That evening I got to take a walk along the beach with my grandma…

(isn’t my grandma the BEST for coming to keep my company during this trip to France?)

I pretty much would like to move into each of the homes along the beach in the little town of Brignogan Plages, which is the beach where the historic little hotel was located.

Just a short walk from their hotel destination was an INCREDIBLE lighthouse. One person called it the most photographed lighthouse in the world… at least accord to those residing in this quiant town!

The whole scenery of the unique granite boulders filling the beach was so different than anything I’m used to. I vacation often to Seaside on the Oregon Coast, which has a type of wild beach beauty, but this definitely rivaled it!

The next morning I met Vicky at her parent’s house, a beautifully renovated traditional Bretagne home.

And then we were off to the historic church, which is filled with her family history and incredible stories! Such an amazing place for her to get married.

Before heading to the hotel for their reception, Richard and Vicky got to do some portraits on their favorite beach and spend a little time together as a newly married couple.

The hotel, the reception, all of it was perfection. They “paid the piper” in a traditional Scottish ceremony, and we feasted on some amazing food! I loved watching the blend of history and tradition, both from her French family and her British and Scottish family.

I snuck the bride and groom away from the reception again at sunset for some more stunning images on the beach of the hotel. It was one of their favorite parts of the night because they had a chance to breathe and just be together for a few minutes.

The party lasted WELL past midnight! Then the next morning, these two hosted a lovely brunch for their friends at family at the hotel before everyone headed back home.

I can’t wait to see all the amazing ways this couple continues to grow together in the beautiful life they’ve created. Thank you Richard and Vickie for bringing this “American” over to be a part of your incredible day!
